Mountbatten Avenue, Cowes

The brief for Mountbatten Avenue, Cowes, was to demolish the rear of the existing two-storey house and replace it with a new, contemporary, two-storey kitchen/dining room extension, and at first floor enlarger the master bedroom with new added ensuite and provide a new bedroom.  The new open plan main living areas to the rear have been opened up with large glazed sliding/folding doors opening out onto timber steps leading out on to the rear garden.  To the front rear extension appears to be a zinc metal standing seam clad dormer with timber cladding and slot window to the front elevation.
